How does the petition process work?

To Start:  You download a FREE set of Client Information Forms.  Print the forms and have the client(s) fill them out.  Review them with your client for completeness, then fax or scan and email the forms to Bankruptcy Processing Services.

Next:  Upon receipt of the completed Client Information Forms, we prepare the completed bankruptcy petition utilizing the bankruptcy software your firm prefers, including State forms, if needed.  We obtain any missing information from your client and email the completed petition along with a summary analysis to alert you of any potential problems.

Finally:  You review the petition and inform us of any modifications you may have.  When the petition is finalized, your law firm information and Attorney Compensation Statement will be prepared.  Then, the entire petition is converted to PDF format and emailed to you.  The PDF file will be suitable for electronic filing.  If you would like, we can electronically file the petition with the appropriate Court.  We electronically store and save the Petition and supporting documents in our office.
